About Frau Schmidt

Even though I’m not technically Frau Schmidt yet, the name means a lot to me.

There are already three Frau Schmidts in the family I’m marrying into: the born one, the married one and the former one. And here I am, the future Frau Schmidt. So while I might not carry the name officially, Frau Schmidt has already become my way of creating a space that feels like mine – a personal signature, a mindset, a beautiful space. It stands for the woman I aspire to be – thoughtful, creative, grounded, and quietly confident in her taste. Frau Schmidt is my way of expressing what I care about most: aesthetics, nourishment and the beauty of everyday things.

I believe that living well doesn’t have to be a luxury. To me, beauty isn’t about perfection or price tags – it’s about intention, feeling, and the small details that spark joy. I find inspiration in quiet mornings, imperfect ceramics, nourishing food, and color palettes that make you exhale. I adore well-curated spaces, thoughtful details, and objects crafted with care. I’d rather own one handmade piece by an artist than ten mass-produced items from a big-box store.

With Frau Schmidt, I’m building a lifestyle universe that brings together all the things I love: design, yoga, food and curated products that feel personal and real. It’s not about trends – it’s about creating spaces and routines that make you feel something. Designing things that evoke emotion. A beautifully designed object can feel like a tiny orgasm. And that’s the feeling I want to share.
